Dana Brown

Town Square Pizza, initially conceptualized by partner Dana Brown, has been several years in the making. Dana is a part of the fast-paced life of the courthouse, and he noticed a hole in the downtown lunch landscape. There are many great restaurants downtown, but they don’t always work for those with limited time to grab a quick-but-delicious bite to eat. Dana found himself in that spot all too often, and that’s how Town Square Pizza came into being.

Partner Dana Brown

Partnering with Derek Fitch and enlisting the expertise of General Manager Elisabeth McKinley, Dana and the team created the perfect portable option to eat on the go. The restaurant's Baton Rouge Town Square location provides the perfect opportunity for its original design concept of square pizzas, napkins, tables, and tile floors. From the moment you walk in the door at Town Square Pizza you will understand!

With events at the River Center and Shaw Center combined with the festivals and concerts held downtown, the team knew that portable pizza was what Downtown was missing. Town Square Pizza is perfect for the lunch crowd as well as those who are downtown for a visit. The Town Square Pizza team knows that a vibrant downtown is essential for a healthy city and they are committed to helping Baton Rouge grow in that direction.
